APLICACIÓN EN TUBOS DE CALDERA DE LA MICROSCOPÍA ELECTRÓNICA MEDIANTE RÉPLICAS METALOGRÁFICAS

Abstract

Este trabajo permitió evaluar, mediante la aplicación de técnicas de microscopía óptica y microscopía electrónica (SEM), las réplicas metalográficas obtenidas en trozos de tubos de calderas.

Para ello, se realizaron metalografías tradicionales de diversos trozos de sobrecalentador y pared de agua de caldera, a los cuales se le aplicaron distintos reactivos de ataque, de diversas concentraciones y de uso metalográfico, para posteriormente obtener de ellos las réplicas metalográficas mediante el sistema Transcopy y luego compararlas tanto en su aspecto general como en la identificación de sus microconstituyentes.

Del análisis sobre más de 60 muestras realizadas se concluyeron los resultados obtenidos que se indican en este artículo.

Abstract: This work allow to evaluate, by means of optical microscopy and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), the metalographic replicates got from pieces of boiler tubes.

There were carried out traditional metalographies to several pieces of the overheater and water wall of the boiler. To these parts were applied different reactives, of different concentrations and of metalographic use, so as to further obtain the metalographic replicates through Transcopy system.

Then, they were compared not only in their general aspect but in the identification of their microconstituents.

The results presented in this paper were obtained from the analysis of more than 60 samples.
